Bible reading plans for 2025

5 X 5 x 5 Reading Plan

~ 5 Minutes a Day ~ 5 Chapters a Week ~ 5 Days a Week ~

- 5 minutes a day. This reading plan will take you through all 260 chapters of the New Testament. The Gospels are read throughout the year to keep the story of Jesus fresh all year long. With the amount of required reading per day, one should finish on average within five minutes.

- 5 chapters a week. Those who are new to reading the Bible, or even those who struggle in remaining consistent in reading will find that this plan isn't difficult. With this plan, you will only read five chapters within the week. These bite size readings allow you to meditate upon small sections as well as build your stamina for the future.

- 5 days a week. Determine a time and location to spend five minutes a day for five days a week. It is best to have a consistent time and a quiet place where you can regularly meet with the Lord. Guard that time like your life depends upon it!

M'cheyne Reading plan

~ Old Testament Once ~ Psalms & New Testament Twice ~ Daily Reading ~

This reading plan requires enough stamina to read through 4-5 chapters every day of the year. You will read through the Old Testament once and the New Testament and Psalms twice.

Some may choose to read all of the chapters in one sitting for their private worship. Others may choose to split each day into two separate readings to be used in both family worship as well as private worship.

A JOURNEY IN SCRIPTURE

~ New Testament Plan ~ 5 Days a Week ~

This year's journey will survey the Life of Christ, the Epistles of Paul, the book of Revelation, plus everything in between. Our plan will have you complete the entire New Testament in 2025 by reading specific passages of scripture each Monday thru Friday.

An added feature for 2025 is the reading of Proverbs during the months of January, May, July and October.
