What is the Lord’s Supper?

The Lord’s Supper is a symbolic act of obedience whereby members of the church, through partaking of the bread and the fruit of the vine, memorialize the death of the Redeemer and anticipate His second coming.

Ladies Bible Study Returns, Monday, February 22nd 7:00-8:00PM

Ladies Bible Study will resume for the Spring 2021 on Monday nights, 7-8pm, starting on February 22nd and ending on April 26th. We we will complete lesson we began in the Fall.

The study will meet in person on campus or you can choose to participate remotely. A video of the bible study will be emailed on Tuesdays.

New 2021 Bible Reading Plan

This Chronological reading plan is unique from other reading plans as it traces the characters and events of Scripture as they unfolded in human history; not in the order in which each book is listed in the Bible. Through this reading plan we will grow in our knowledge, trust, and worship of God as we see how He has worked and continues to work in redemptive history. THANK YOU so much for choosing to register your child for our 2018 Vacation Bible School at First Baptist Church at Weston. Our desire is for you and your children to have a wonderful experience with our church. In order to do so, we want to clearly communicate our goals for the week to ensure that you are aware of what they are before you complete registration. First, we are a Bible believing Christian church that is committed to sharing the Christian message as we have been commanded to do so by our Lord Jesus Christ in the New Testament. Second, the Vacation Bible School exists to provide us the opportunity to share this message with children already associated with our church, as well as those in our community that choose to join us for this special week. Third, we intend to share this message of hope and salvation with all of the children who attend our Vacation Bible School. Fourth, we will be encouraging all of the children who attend our Vacation Bible School to place their faith in Jesus Christ in an age appropriate manner. Finally, we plan to follow up with the parents of every child that has questions about the Christian message of salvation, or who makes a spiritual commitment during the course of the week. This last one is vitally important, as our goal is to work together with you as a parent in this process.
